ABOUT ME
Policies and Procedures
At Jr. Adventures Childcare Academy, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children. Our policies are designed to ensure the well-being of every child, maintain open communication with families, and uphold the highest standards of care.
We do not allow any form of physical punishment, emotional abuse, or verbal belittlement. Our approach focuses on positive reinforcement, redirection, and modeling kind behavior.
- If repetitive aggressive behavior occurs, parents will be contacted to discuss strategies.
- If no improvement is seen and safety is compromised, the child may be asked to leave.
- Staff are trained to recognize when additional support may be needed and will work with parents to connect with community resources like the Child Development Centre (CDC).
Children will only be released to authorized individuals listed on the registration form.
- Photo ID may be requested at any time.
- Alternate arrangements must be communicated in writing and verbally.
- Children will not be released to anyone under 18 or anyone appearing incapable of providing safe care (e.g., under the influence of drugs or alcohol).
