Children will only be released to authorized individuals listed on the registration form.

• Photo ID may be requested at any time.
• Alternate arrangements must be communicated in writing and verbally.
• Children will not be released to anyone under 18 or anyone appearing incapable of providing safe care (e.g., under the influence of drugs or alcohol).
• In cases of custody disputes, a copy of the custody order must be provided.

• A 10-minute grace period is allowed after closing time (5:00 PM). After that, a late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 10 minutes.
• Frequent late pick-ups will result in the removal of the grace period.
• If a child is not picked up within 30 minutes and no communication is received, the Ministry for Children and Family Development will be contacted.

Parents are responsible for providing healthy lunches and snacks for their children.

• Nutritious meals and at least two snacks are required daily.
• No candies, gum, or junk food are allowed, except for special occasions.
• Food allergies and dietary restrictions will be strictly adhered to, and parents must complete a Food Allergy Action Plan if applicable.
• A microwave is available for warming food, but thermoses are encouraged for meals that don’t require heating.

• Fees are due on the 1st of each month and can be paid via e-transfer or cheque.
• A $150.00 registration fee and $150.00 deposit are required to secure a spot.
• Two months’ notice is required for withdrawal to receive a deposit refund.
• Fees are non-refundable for sick days, holidays, or closures due to extreme weather.

• We prioritize active play and limit screen time to a maximum of 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week.
• Children under 2 years old will not have screen time.
• Daily active play includes 60 minutes of outdoor time and 15 minutes of indoor movement activities like yoga or Zumba.
• A variety of play materials are provided to encourage physical activity and social interaction.

• Serious incidents will be reported to Fraser Health and the licensing office within 24 hours.
• Minor incidents will be recorded in communication books and shared with parents as needed.

• We are prepared for emergencies with monthly fire drills and annual earthquake drills.
• Emergency kits are required for each child and must be provided at enrollment.
• In case of evacuation, children will be taken to the front field of Blue Jay Elementary School (30995 Southern Dr., Abbotsford, BC).
• Parents will be contacted for pick-up as soon as it is safe.

• To maintain a healthy environment, children must stay home if they exhibit any of the following:
• Fever of 100°F or higher.
• Vomiting, diarrhea, or unexplained rashes.
• Contagious illnesses like flu, chickenpox, or COVID-19.
• Children must be symptom-free for 24-48 hours (depending on the condition) before returning.

• Only doctor-prescribed medications will be administered with a signed consent form.
• Medications must be in their original container with clear instructions.
• Over-the-counter medications will not be administered under any circumstances.

• Parents must provide diapers, wipes, and diaper cream if needed.
• Diapers are changed every 2.5-3 hours or as needed.
• Toilet training will be supported once the child has shown readiness and has had success at home for at least two weeks.

• Children will be provided with cots and must bring their own blankets.
• Quiet time will be offered for non-napping children in a separate area.
• Bedding will be sent home weekly for washing or sooner if soiled.

• The center will be closed on statutory holidays, Pro-D days, and during scheduled vacations.
• Pro-D Days and Breaks: Dates will be communicated in advance.
